PetKind™ Venison Tripe Treats

I've seen these PetKind™ Tripe Treats at multiple different pet stores and when I found them on sale, I leapt at the chance to try them. They don't smell bad and they are very easy to rip into pieces; I find that one stick can be used multiple times for training. Another plus is that they don't leave crumbs in your pocket, making them perfect for impromptu training sessions on walks.

Both Abby and Hannah love these treats, but I like to ration them out for special occasions. 

I do find these treats quite pricey for only 170g of product, however, so I would only buy them on sale.

These treats are very similar to the Trumps™ Choice Reward Real Liver dog treats. 

They're both made out of pork liver and have the same smell. I like to use these types of treats when training Abby. 

At her old puppy obedience class, we were told that moist treats were best for training because the dogs wouldn't take a long time to chew them and then forget why they got the treat in the first place.

Although these treats are about the size of a dime, I still like to cut them up for very small rewards, or to sprinkle a bit on top of their kibble as a little treat.

Spring Naturals™ Turkey & Salmon Treats with a medley of fruits & berries

I picked these up along with the Think Dog Alligator treats and a handful of other treats. They're quite hard, almost like a bark. I can't break them with my hands so I wouldn't recommend these for puppies or older dogs, although adult dogs shouldn't have a problem. Similar to the Yappetizer Lamb Hearts, these treats also have a fish-food smell, but the aroma is somewhat sweeter.

Yappetizers™ Lamb Heart Treats

A little while ago, I bought the Yappetizers Bison Liver Treats and featured them on my blog. Hannah and Abby loved them and I loved giving them the treats because the only ingredient was Bison Liver. I'm excited to try these Lamb Heart treats with them, however they are quite expensive as you only get 100g of product per bag. I think I'll save these for special occasions. 

They smell like fish food, so I wouldn't recommend these for owners with sensitive noses.

I would recommend these products for owners who have dogs with food allergies and can't find many good treats, because they are formulated with usually one, sometimes two ingredients.

Louisiana Alligator with Sweet Potatoes Soft Chew Snacks by Think Dog

I stumbled across these treats in Homesense the other day (keep checking back for my other treat reviews!) and I was curious.

Opening the bag, the smell is quite strong. I can't really explain what it smells like (smokey, perhaps?) but it's not for people with sensitive noses. Both Abby and Hannah seems to really like these treats, and I like that they're very small. However, leaving these treats out in the open they tend to dry up (as most moist dog treats do).

I stopped off at Winners for a bit the other day and lo and behold, there were new dog treats!

I love buying dog treats because I feel like I'm spoiling my dogs (and maybe they'll listen to me more)!

I saw these beef jerky treats and was a bit skeptical but I checked out the ingredients and they were fine. 

I was especially impressed with the fact that the top two ingredients are beef heart and beef lung. The higher up in the body the meat is, the better it is!

These treats are super easy to rip into tiny pieces for little mouths and all three of my dogs like them. (Max actually doesn't like PetBotanics Chicken treats! I was amazed.)

These dog treats are made and checked in China, not Canada or the States (even though it says on the bag that they have) and have allegedly caused the death of many little canines.

We do use these treats, as we bought a big bag from Costco, but we only feed them to Hannah and watch her chew them well.

We will not be buying these again!

Animal Planet™ Grain-Free Soft and Chewy Treats Salmon

These are pretty chewy, when I gave Max one he looked like he was chewing gum! Max likes them, but I haven't tried them out on Abby or Hannah.
The treats themselves are slightly moist. I don't really know how to explain it.. like raw bread dough thats hardened overnight?
They're pretty easy to rip apart but in all honesty, I was expecting them to be as dark as the picture on the front of the bag.
These will be great for training Hannah, since they're big and she's fallen behind on her obedience.
