Feeding Instructions

Feed as a healthy treat, along with lots of love and outdoor play of course. Teach a new trick, spread a handful out on the floor, or even sprinkle on top of food as a tasty appetizer. Healthy little Minis make feeding fun.

Tuffy® Ultimate Soft Dog Toy

Hey everyone, sorry I've been super quiet in the last couple of months, but I haven't really found any other dog products.

It's really hard to find toys for Abby, because she loves to destroy things. I think it's the labrador in her.

Speaking of Abby, tomorrow (Friday) she's getting spayed!


Today we're looking at the Tuffy® Ultimate Dog Bone!
We also have the Tuffy® Ultimate Boomerang and the Ultimate Ring!

Abby's favorite is definitely the Ultimate Boomerang, she's been working on it for a couple of weeks and managed to destroy one of the three ends.
She hasn't really seemed interested in the Ultimate Ring, and I think it's because she can't fit her jaws around it. We'll see how long this Ultimate Bone holds up!

OurPets IQ Treat Ball™ food dispenser

This food dispenser is similar to the Contempo Tessa, except for the fact that it is shaped like a ball for easy rolling.

The IQ Treat Ball comes apart into 3 pieces, the bottom which you fill with food, the middle which has an adjustable opening and the top which has one hole on the top!

I would say that this treat ball is a bit easier than the earlier compared Contempo Tessa. 

The next level up for the treat ball is OurPets Smarter Toys Buster Cube, which is too difficult for my dogs.

Here's a new type of food dispenser! The Contempo Tessa is weighted on the bottom, like an old school bop-bag where you hit it and it comes back up.

That's what this dispenser does. It has two holes in the bottom which can open and close to change the difficulty.

We give Max his dinner in the Tessa sometimes and it has worked so far!

I stopped off at Winners for a bit the other day and lo and behold, there were new dog treats!

I love buying dog treats because I feel like I'm spoiling my dogs (and maybe they'll listen to me more)!

I saw these beef jerky treats and was a bit skeptical but I checked out the ingredients and they were fine. 

I was especially impressed with the fact that the top two ingredients are beef heart and beef lung. The higher up in the body the meat is, the better it is!

These treats are super easy to rip into tiny pieces for little mouths and all three of my dogs like them. (Max actually doesn't like PetBotanics Chicken treats! I was amazed.)

This is Sascha the standard poodle, he's eight years old. He is co-owned with my sister who comes back from the Arctic every four months and then Sascha is hers for four months.

Of course we miss him during that time but he is never far away. He is the most calm and lovely dog in the world except when it comes to ducks. He doesn't swim though.

The other dog is Betty, my son Carl's dog. She's about a year and a half now. She is a Presa Canario mixed with something, but we're not sure what. She looks kind of scary but she is the sweetest dog in the world, just a bit bouncy still. It took a while for her to learn not to bug Sascha but now they get along quite well. The last picture is them together waiting for me to get off the computer and go for a walk.
